and in the Church

The Saint John Paul II Missionary Vocational Union (UMV) is delighted to have a network of collaborators in France and throughout the world. We can help you establish missionary initiatives together, adapted to your own reality.

Become a collaborator

With the support of the Pontifical Mission Societies

Blessing of two UMV priests by Cardinal Tagle, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, 2026.

In the School of the Saints

  • Saint John Paul II

    My Vocation: Gift and Mystery

A holy Pope who contemplated the Priesthood of Christ the High Priest and reflected on vocation as a «Gift and Mystery». Close to the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort, he visited the Basilica of Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre (Vendée) in 1996 to pray at the tomb of his spiritual master.

  • Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort

Treatise on True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary

An incomparable missionary, he also guided countless Catholics in their relationship with and prayer to the Most Holy Mother of our Lord. His tomb in the Basilica of Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre is a major place of spirituality for the Saint John Paul II Missionary Vocational Union.

  • Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus

    Story of a Soul

A great missionary from within her Carmel in Lisieux, this young woman, whose family gave rise to many holy vocations (to religious life and marriage), also worked to support priests through her prayer and precious correspondence.
